Jennifer Weise is a seasoned and exceptional trial attorney that has handled all types of criminal cases including well over 500 criminal sexual conduct cases in her career. Before opening Weise Law, Jennifer was an Assistant Prosecutor in Calhoun County for three years and for 11 years in Ottawa County ending her career there as the Senior Trial Attorney for her office. All the while focusing on criminal sexual conduct and similar type cases.
William R. Weise has been representing people facing criminal charges in Michigan since 1994. He has vast experience in every type of criminal case including juvenile, misdemeanors, and felonies. William has litigation experience at both State and Federal levels. William has practiced in virtually every county in the state of Michigan during his career. During his over twenty years as a criminal defense attorney, William has litigated everything from traffic cases to murder charges. William is a problem solver using creative techniques and negotiating skills to help his clients achieve the best possible results.
A native of Saginaw, William attended Alma College and Cooley Law School. In addition to the practice of law, he has served as an adjunct professor of Criminal Law at Marygrove College in Detroit. He has also served on the City of Grand Ledge Water Appeal Board (Mayoral Appointment) and the Eaton County Boundary Commission (Judicial Appointment). William resides with his wife and children in Zeeland, Michigan.
William's legal career began in 1994 when he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas S. Eveland. Mr. Weise has trial experience with the latest evidentiary technologies including DNA, ballistics, cell phone triangulation, and other tracking technology.
Christie Ferguson has been practicing criminal law since 2014 working primarily in Eaton and Ingham Counties. She joined William Weise after her graduation and has assisted him with numerous cases both in court and through research and writing. She has successfully negotiated both misdemeanor and felony cases. Christie also has handled family law including custody and divorce actions and estate planning cases. She has focused on providing power of attorney documents for criminal clients facing long term incarceration. Christie is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Barry and Eaton Counties.
Christie holds an associate degree in Accounting from Utah Valley State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She also has degrees in medical assisting and radiology from the American Institute of Medical Dental Technology and Mountainland Applied Technology College.
Christie served an eighteen-month service mission in Salta Argentina and is fluent in Spanish. She resides with her husband and three children in Ionia County Michigan.
Cal Moultine has been a legal intern with William R. Weise, Attorney at Law since April 2017. He is in his third year of undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. Cal is also a third-year member of the Spartan Marching Band. Cal Moultine plans to graduate in 2019 from Michigan State University with a BA in Political Science.
